Already logged in to the GIC Social Trade dashboard, but still confused? The following is an explanation of the GIC Social Trade dashboard so that you as a master trader and trader follower can easily use this feature.

To enjoy this feature and become a follower or master, make sure you already have a trader account with GIC.

How to Login to GIC Social Trade Dashboard Page

To enter the Social Trade dashboard page, follow the steps below:

  • Login to your trader account via the GIC Portal here
  • After you have successfully logged in, click on the ‘Social Trade’ menu.

You will see a display like below.

GIC Social Trade Dashboard Explanation

The GIC Social Trade dashboard is the first screen you will see when you enter the Social Trade feature. This dashboard displays some information.

The following is an explanation of the dashboard parts:

A. My Account
My Account is a submenu that serves to display your Social Trade account. If you enter this page, you can use it to register yourself to become a master at GIC Social Trade. See how here to find out more.

B. Entry Display Number
The Entry Display Number serves to set the display of the list of master traders who have traded at GIC Social Trade.

C. Name
The Name column is used to display the master nickname. The nickname is usually the name that is also displayed on the GIC Social Trade account.

D. Earnings
Gain column serves to display the gain (gain) that has been generated by the master. Gain is the total profit and loss in the trading process which is calculated as a percentage. GIC uses a time-weighted return system, therefore there is a negative or minus percentage of a master’s gain. You can read more here.

E. Pip
The Pip column serves to display the amount of profit and loss in pip units that has been obtained by the master.

F. DD
The DD column is used to display the total master drawdown value. Drawdown is the maximum amount of loss or loss that the master currently earns, when compared to the initial deposit. This drawdown amount is usually calculated as a percentage.

For example, a master’s initial trading account is $10,000. Then lost for two days, a loss of $2,500 each. Thus, the account is now at $5,000 or the drawdown value of 50%.

G. Monthly and Graph
Monthly Columns and Charts serve to display a visualization of the trading performance of the masters.

H. Price
The Price column is used to display the cost that you have to pay if you follow a certain master.

I. Age
The Age column displays the age of the master account.

J. Server
The Server column is used to display the server used by the master. If you see that the server used by a certain master has a red exclamation mark symbol, it means that the master is not trading on GIC, so there is a risk.

If the master who uses another server outside the GIC changes the password, the trading activity of the master cannot be accessed by the GIC system. Although previously the masters had agreed not to change the password, GIC could not guarantee it. Masters who carry out trading activities on GIC have a green tick symbol and get a security guarantee from GIC.

K. Action
Action is a submenu that is used to register as a follower in GIC Social Trade. See how here to find out more.

Well, that is the explanation of the GIC Social Trade dashboard. Come on, get profit at GIC Social Trade!
